The Buccaneers are on a franchise best 10 game winning streak and nine straight games of 30 plus points. Meanwhile the Falcons are losers of seven in a row going back to last season. \

Rob Gronkowski had a great day as he caught two touchdowns. Mike Evans also caught a pair of touchdowns as Brady attacked the aerial coverage of Falcons. Chris Godwin also caught a touchdown in the final minutes of the game.

Matt Ryan had a busy day throwing the ball as the Falcons only had 55 yards rushing yards. Ryan threw for 300 yards and throwing two touchdowns to Calvin Ridley and Cordarrelle Patterson. He also had three interceptions that hurt the Falcons late in the ball game.

The game was close late in the third quarter as the Falcons got a 18 point deficit down to just three as they trailed 28-25 after a successful 2 point conversion. In the fourth Ryan threw two pick 6’s to Mike Edwards they were costly and Bucs were able to gain a big lead and win the game.

“Got it to a three-point game, and we had some momentum, really did. Credit to them, they changed the tide,” Ryan said. “They did a good job in the fourth quarter putting us away. I think there’s things we can improve, there’s a lot of things we can correct.” said Matt Ryan.

Head Coach Arthur Smith looked upset as the Falcons lost their second game in a row under the new head coach. “These guys kept coming back, back, back,” said Arthur Smith. “It’s a shame. You get in there, it’s a three-point game and then it ends the way it does.

“When the score got out of hand, a lot of that was on the offense, right? You can almost put four of those touchdowns — two of them for sure, pick-6′s (on the offense),” Smith added. “Everybody feels sick when you see that box score, but there were some positives.”

In two weeks of football, Brady has thrown 9 touchdowns only trailing Pat Mahomes who threw 10 touchdowns in 2018 season. If Brady want the most touchdowns in a season title he would have to throw for 3.1 touchdowns per game to break Peyton Mannings 55 touchdowns in 2013 as a member of the Broncos.

Falcons will be looking for their first win of the season vs Giants next week.
