CJ Stroud Shines as The Houston Texans Defeat the Cleveland Browns (45-14) in their NFL Wild Card Matchup

Houston, tonight the only team that has a problem is the Cleveland Browns.

The Houston Texans are moving on to the NFL Divisional round after defeating the Cleveland Browns (45-14) in the first NFL playoff matchup of 2024. Texans rookie quarterback CJ Stroud had one of the best rookie performances in NFL history tossing three touchdown passes, while passing for 274 yards. Stroud also become the youngest QB in NFL history to win a playoff game in the victory.

The Houston Texans played big as well scoring two touchdowns on interceptions off of Browns quarterback Joe Flacco. Texans defensive back Steven Nelson scored a 82 yard interception return, and Texans defensive back Christian Harris accounted for a 36 yard interception return.

Now, with his first career NFL playoff victory under his belt, Texans quarterback CJ Stroud will get set to face Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in the next round.
