On Thursday May 2nd, The Home Depot Backyard opened its 2024 campaign with a celebratory evening showcasing international cuisines, goods, and entertainment from some of Atlanta’s best chefs, artisans, and tastemakers as well as some of the industry’s top beverage brands.
With the Sun creating a beautiful scene on a spring evening in Atlanta, Truist Night Market: Passport Edition at The Home Depot Backyard took guest on a tasting adventure of some of the finest cuisines from around the world.
Media maven Arkeedah McCormick was the emcee for the night, adding to the sensational experience that guest were treated to. Beverage partners for the event included Tito’s Handmade Vodka, who in conjunction with The Home Depot Backyard, will partner with Second Helpings Atlanta, a nonprofit food rescue organization that works to reduce hunger and food waste in metro Atlanta, to donate the event’s surplus food to provide meals for those in need.
In partnership with Southern Culinary & Creative, Truist Night Market is one of The Home Depot Backyard’s most successful and tenured signature event series, highlighting more than 130 local restaurants and artisans from the region since its inception. Since 2019, thousands of attendees have enjoyed a series of evenings filled with live music, craft cocktails, delicious savory, and sweet food options as well as shopping for fine goods and crafts with local artisans.
