2024 ESSENCE Festival of Culture™ Will Feature Hometown Hero Birdman & Friends “30 Years of Cash Money Millionaires”

As the countdown to the festival’s birthday celebration of three decades of “loving us” on July 4th – 7th kicks off, and as we look forward to unforgettable moments in the heart of our forever home, New Orleans, continues. In perfect harmony with our thirty year milestone, Birdman & Friends Presents 30 Years of Cash Money Millionaires kicks off the performance line-up announcement at the Caesar’s Superdome, to celebrate their musical roots homegrown in New Orleans.

Throughout the month, the 2024 ESSENCE Festival of Culture™ presented by Coca-Cola®, will continue to drop announcements on who will be joining us for this year’s party with a purpose. You never know who may show up!

Rooted in the musical heritage of the city, the ESSENCE Festival of Culture™ presented by Coca-Cola® pays homage to its cultural bearers whose creativity has inspired several generations.  The local community has remained the heartbeat of this event since our inception, infusing it with the spirit of New Orleans. From the musical legends rooted in the city’s soul to the artisans, chefs, and cultural guardians who make our culture come alive. Just announced: This enduring 30-year bond has inspired the ESSENCE Festival of Culture™ presented by Coca-Cola® to contribute $30,000 to the New Orleans Tourism and Cultural Fund Grant Program, furthering our dedication to preserving the rich culture of the city and our local efforts there.
