She saw her best season in 2019 with the Minnesota Lynx, where in 33 games, she averaged a career-best 7.6 points per game, while shooting 40.2% from the floor, including 38.5% from beyond the arc.

This offseason, Brown participated in the inaugural Athletes Unlimited professional league, where she played in 15 games and averaged 14.0 points per game. Brown shot 52.3% from the field, including 46.9% from deep on 4.3 attempts per game. She added 4.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game in those contests.

Brown is the daughter of former NBA player Dee Brown. She graduated from Duke University and was drafted ninth overall in the 2018 WNBA Draft by the Connecticut Sun.

The Sparks send the Sky the rights to Chinese center Li Yueru, who was recently acquired alongside Chennedy Carter in a trade with the Atlanta Dream on Feb. 5, 2022.
