The Los Angeles Sparks have announced a multiyear, seven-figure partnership with UCLA Health, who will be the Official Healthcare Partner of the LA Sparks. UCLA Health also will serve as the Official Team Physicians. The Sparks join the UCLA Health sports family which includes the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers and UCLA Athletics. The UCLA Health logo will be featured on the Sparks jersey.

“This is a historic partnership for the LA Sparks organization,” Sparks Managing Partner Eric Holoman said. “UCLA Health will provide world-class health care that our athletes need to compete at the professional level. They align with our community pillars of women’s empowerment and health and wellness. We’re proud to wear their logo on our uniforms and be part of their family.”

In addition to jersey placement, UCLA Health will have significant presence at Sparks games at Crypto.com Arena and will be featured on the Sparks media backdrops. Their medical team will be the official physicians for the Sparks, providing 24/7 concierge treatment, ranging from orthopedic, to physical therapy, as well as mental health services.

“We’re proud to partner with the LA Sparks, a world-class team that has shown its commitment to equity, justice and improving mental and physical health,” said Johnese Spisso, President, UCLA Health, CEO, UCLA Hospital System and associate vice chancellor, UCLA Health Sciences. “Our collaboration strengthens our commitment to serving greater Los Angeles and allows both our teams to empower women and families throughout the community.”

The partnership will have a robust community focus, as the Sparks and UCLA Health will collaborate on initiatives in the LA market to address health inequities.

The LA Sparks opened training camp April 17 at UCLA Health Training Center and kick off the season May 6 at the Chicago Sky at 5 p.m. PT, airing on NBATV and Spectrum SportsNet.
