The Atlanta Dream have signed 6-4 forward Lorela Cubaj to a training camp contract, the organization announced today.

Cubaj returns to Atlanta for the first time this summer after a decorated five-year campaign at Georgia Tech, where she was named the ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Year her senior year in 2021. In her final season with the Yellow Jackets she averaged a double-double with 10.1 points and 11.1 rebounds while converting 41.9% (125-298) of her shots from the field.

A native of Terni, Italy, Cubaj has been playing with Umana Reyer Venezia this season, where she has averaged 5.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 20 games.
