Philadelphia Eagles star Lane Johnson Test Positive for Covid-19

Covid-19 is still very real and with the 2020 NFL season currently still set to take place, positive test results have been expected.

Today, a star on the Philadelphia Eagles has revealed he has tested positive.

Eagles Pro Bowl offensive tackle Lane Johnson announced on social media today that he has tested positive for Covid-19 but that he feels great.

The NFLPA approved new emergency protocol procedures due to Covid-19 for all 32 teams earlier this week. The Philadelphia Eagles have placed Johnson on the reserve list as he recovers and gets healthy.

According to the new protocol, if not showing symptoms, he can return 10 days after positive test or 5 days if he tests negative twice. If showing symptoms, 10+ days must pass since the symptoms 1st occurred + 72+ hours must pass since symptoms last occurred.

The Eagles are already short handed on the offensive line after losing Pro Bowl right guard Brandon Brooks to a torn Achilles injury.
