Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes Clears Concussion Protocol, Will Play in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game

Great news for Kansas City Chiefs fans and fans for the NFL overall.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has cleared concussion protocol and he will play in Sunday’s AFC Championship game.

Mahomes suffered a head injury during the Chiefs AFC Divisional matchup vs. the Cleveland Browns. Mahomes was required to pass a five step process before being cleared to play in the AFC Championship game.

The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday January 24th in the 2021 AFC Championship game. The winning will play in Super Bowl LV in Tampa, FL on Sunday February 7th.
