HOF Deion Sanders to Become Next HC of Jackson State University

Mandatory Credit: Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

According to HBCU Sports’ Kenn Rashad, Jackson State University is finalizing a deal with HOF corner Deion Sanders.

Sanders has no head coaching experience but he was the Offensive Coordinator for this alma mater, Trinity Christian High School in Cedar Hill, Texas. The QB for that team committed to FIU and was ranked the No. 8 pocket passer in the 2021 class. Oh he also happened to be Sanders’ son, Shedeur.

There is a slight hang up with the hire because of contradicting endorsement deals. Sanders is signed to Under Armour and Jackson State is with Nike. We will see if both sides can find a resolution to make this deal happen.
