George Kittle Signs 5yr $75 Million Extension with 49ers

One of the best tight ends/ offensive weapons in the NFL has been signed and locked in for years to come.

George Kittle has agreed to a 5 year, $75 million dollar extension to stay in the bay area with the San Francisco 49ers. Kittle’s deal includes a $18 million dollar signing bonus and $30 million guaranteed.

Kittle was drafted by the 49ers in 2017 in the fifth round and he has earned his way up the ranks as one of the top two tight ends in the NFL (Kittle and Travis Kelce). In 2018, Kittle set the NFL single-season record for receiving yards by a tight end with 1,377 yards.

He followed up his record setting 2018 season by receiving 85 catches for 1,053 yards.

Kittle was set to make $2.1 million dollars this season. The San Francisco 49ers were the 2019 NFC Champions.
