Gardner Minshew Leads the Philadelphia Eagles Pass the N.Y. Jets (33-18)

Minshew Mania is in full effect in Philadelphia!

On Sunday afternoon, Philadelphia Eagles backup quarterback Gardner Minshew was named the Eagles starting quarterback due to a Jalen Hurts ankle injury. Minshew made the most of his starting opportunity by leading the Philadelphia Eagles to a (33-18) victory against the New York Jets.

Gardner Minshew craved the Jets defense up from the start of the Eagles first drive. Minshew was (20-25) passing for 242 yards, along with two touchdowns, and a 133.7 passer rating.

Although Minshew had a great game against the Jets, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nicki Siranni made it clear after the game that Jalen Hurts is still the Eagles starting quarterback once he gets healthy.

The Philadelphia Eagles are currently (6-7) and they are in the mix for a NFC Playoff spot. The Eagles have a bye heading into Week 14 with a bye. The Philadelphia Eagles are back in action on December 19th as they host the Washington Football Team.
