USA Basketball Announces 2024 USA 3×3 Men’s National Team Training Camp

USA Basketball announced today that 16 athletes are expected to participate in the 2024 USA 3×3 Men’s National Team training camp. The participants were selected by the USA Basketball Men’s 3×3 National Team Committee and will be considered for future USA 3×3 national team assignments.

The camp features athletes who bring a combination of USA Basketball (5-on-5, 3×3), professional and collegiate experience.

Participating athletes include Trey Bardsley, Canyon Barry, Charlie Brown Jr., Devin Cannady, Henry Caruso, Jimmer Fredette, Mitch Hahn, Justin Hamilton, Khalil Iverson, Jalen Lecque, Jeremy Lieberman, Kareem Maddox, Trey McGowens, James Parrott, Dylan Travis and Bryce Wills.

USA Basketball will host training camp Feb. 16-18 in Colorado Springs. The committee will evaluate participating athletes for national team opportunities including the 2024 USA 3×3 Men’s National Team, which will compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics; the 2024 USA 3×3 U23 Men’s National Team; and teams that will compete on the 2024 FIBA 3×3 World Tour.

Different than 5-on-5, 3×3 is played on a half-court with a 10-minute game clock and 12-second shot clock. Play is continuous, as teams “clear” the ball behind the 2-point line following a made basket, defensive rebound or steal. The first team to score 21 points via 1-point field goals or 2-pointers behind the arc is victorious; or if time expires then the team leading wins.
