Alabama is trying to follow up a historic 2020 class and have added another #1 recruiting class.
Fresh off the commitment of top 5 QB Ty Simpson, 5-Star RB Emmanuel Henderson chose the Tide. The decision came down to UGA, Auburn and Alabama. With the change to the coaching staff at Auburn that may have affected their standing with the Alabama native.
Henderson is the #2 RB of the 2021 class and #28 overall player. This is a big haul for new OC Bill O’Brien and new RB Coach Robert Gillespie.
My comparison for Henderson would be like a former SEC star, Darren McFadden. Long legged speedster with nice upper body strength.
Alabama’s running back room will be the best in the nation barring transfers. Henderson will join the likes of Trey Sanders, Camar Wheaton, Roydell Williams, Jase McClellan and Keilan Robinson. I think the appropriate saying here is “The Rich Get Richer”
