The Los Angeles Lakers are headed to the 2022-23 NBA Western Conference Finals.
On Friday night, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors (122-101) in Game 6 of their second round Western Conference matchup to advance to the Western Conference Finals.
LeBron James had a big night for the Lakers. He finished the game with 30 points (10-14) shooting and 9 assists. Lakers big man Anthony Davis was huge as well. Davis scored 17 points and added 20 rebounds for the Lakers.
Warriors MVP Steph Curry scored a game high 32 points, with 6 rebounds and 5 assist but it wasn’t enough to force a Game 7 against the Lakers.
The Lakers are set to face the Denver Nuggets in Game 1 of the best of seven series in the Western Conference Finals beginning on Tuesday, May 16th at 8:30pm.
