Nick Grant Talks ‘God Bless The Child’, His Ideal Verzuz Matchup, the NBA Restart & His Upcoming Project ‘NXCK’ with These Urban Times (Video)

Hip-Hop artist Nick Grant’s career is one that has received high praise from Hip-Hop lovers young and old yet he is just scratching the surface of his gifts.

 
Recently, Nick Grant sat down with These Urban Times own Terrell Thomas to share some insight on how he has been spending the year 2020 and what’s next for him and his career. 


On June 26th, Nick Grant released his latest project ‘God Bless The Child” entirely produced by producer TaeBeast. Nick spoke on his 6 track EP and why he decided to release it. Teaming up with TaeBeast, Nick shared how their relationship in the studio formed and how the duo put the project together. 


Spending his time in Los Angeles, Nick also spoke on learning from TDE huncho Punch and how his advice on a few music topics has helped shift his thought process as a writer.

As a fan of music, Nick is also in tune with Swizz Beats and Timbaland’s popular celebration of music “Verzuz”. In Verzuz, two artist play 20 of their biggest hits as fans watch and enjoy the artist(s) and their catalogs. Terrell Thomas asked Nick what his ideal “Verzuz” would be. His answer may surprise you. 


Before concluding the interview, Nick Grant spoke on the 2020 NBA Restart and he dropped some information about his upcoming project ‘NXCK’.
