Originally released on SoundCloud over the holidays, to the tune of 2.2 million plays, the RIOTUSA-produced “In Ha Mood” is Ice’s third straight single to earn viral traction on social media–the snippet generated over 70k video creations and 13.6 million views on TikTok.
“In Ha Mood” is the first single to emerge in the wake of Ice Spice’s massive year. In August, the newly-turned 23-year-old artist shared “Munch (Feelin U),” the runaway hit that helped turn Ice Spice into one of the hottest risers in hip-hop. “Munch” earned universal critical acclaim, earning “Best Song of the Year” mentions in publications like The New York Times, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Billboard, NPR, The Washington Post, and many, many others.
