Titans Derrick Henry Becomes Eighth RB in NFL History to Surpass 2,000 Rushing Yards

King Henry has joined a very exclusive NFL club.

Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans captured the 2020 AFC South division title on Sunday afternoon with a (41-38) victory over the Houston Texans.

During the game, Titans running back Derrick Henry made NFL history reaching over 2,000 rushing yards for the season. Henry officially finished the season with 2,027 yards.

Coming into Sunday’s week 17 matchup against the Texans, Henry needed 227 yards to pick up 2,000. He finished with 250 yards. Derrick Henry is also earned the crown of the 2020 NFL rushing champ. This is the second year in a row Derrick Henry has earned that title.

The Tennessee Titans will host the Baltimore Ravens on the 2021 NFL Wildcard round on Sunday January 10th.
