Last Monday night, one of the biggest fish in the NFL free agency pool resigned with his team. The Dallas Cowboys and free agent wide receiver Amari Cooper have agreed to terms on a 5 year, $100 million dollar deal.

Cooper said all along that he wanted to resign with the Dallas Cowboys but division rivals, the Washington Redskins did make a run at Cooper offering him a deal. Cooper decided to stay in Dallas. Cooper’s $100 million dollar deal includes $60 million guaranteed. Cooper turned down much more money from the Washington Redskins.

Although Amari Cooper now has a new deal, his quarterback Dak Prescott was hit with the franchise tag on Monday. Let’s see if the Dallas Cowboys make any more moves during this NFL free agency period.
