The ACC Announces Their 2020 Football Schedule

The ACC is moving a long with its conference play only schedule. They will have an 11 game fall schedule including Notre Dame playing a full league schedule.

All ACC schools and Notre Dame will play 10 conference games plus one non-conference game of their choosing, and the Fighting Irish will be eligible for the ACC championship game. All of the non-conference games will be required to be in the home state of each ACC team. There will be no divisions for this season only.

As you can see the three Chick-Fil-A Kickoff games, usually played in Atlanta, have been cancelled.

The ACC championship game will be played in the usual location, Charlotte, North Carolina, on either Dec. 12 or Dec. 19. The ACC will have the top two teams with the highest conference winning percentages play for the championship.

Season is scheduled to start September 11th. They plan on playing 11 games through 13 weeks with two built in bye weeks.
