Russell Westbrook Stands Alone as He Breaks the All-Time Triple Doubles Record

Russell Westbrook passes Oscar Robertson as the all time leader of Triple Doubles with 182. Westbrook ended up 28 points, 21 assists and 13 rebounds at that time. Robertson set the record of 181 triple-doubles on Mar. 24, 1974 and had been the all-time leader in the category since the 1961-62 season. Robertson’s record stood until Monday Night.

The Wizards point guard now has 36 triple-doubles on the season with three games remaining. He already has set the record for most triple-doubles in a season with the 42 he had in 2016-17.

Congrats to Russell on making history
