Tickets Available at Ticketmaster.com for $5; Doors Open at 6:30 p.m.

Today, the Atlanta Hawks announced that they will be hosting their official 2024 NBA Draft Watch Party fueled by Geogia Natural Gas on Wednesday, June 26, at the award-winning State Farm Arena. Adding to the celebration, there will be a special performance by multi-platinum and Grammy nominated hip-hop icon Jeezy. In addition, the first 5,000 fans will receive a special luggage tag giveaway courtesy of Georgia Natural Gas. Tickets are available for purchase at Ticketmaster.com for $5, on a first-come, first-serve basis, with all proceeds benefiting the Hawks Foundation and its community partner, the YMCA of Metro Atlanta.

As a result of last month’s lottery, the Hawks secured the first overall selection in the 2024 NBA Draft, presented by State Farm. It marks just the second time in franchise history and the first time since 1975 that the Hawks are positioned with the top pick.

“What an exciting time it is to be a Hawks fan,” said Steve Koonin, Chief Executive Officer of the Atlanta Hawks & State Farm Arena. “The energy and enthusiasm surrounding our organization are at an all-time high, and we can’t wait to celebrate this momentous occasion with our incredible fans and community.”

In celebration of this historic night, there will be a special performance by multi-platinum, Grammy nominated hip-hop pioneer, New York Times bestselling author, philanthropist and entrepreneur Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins. With over 6.5 billion catalog streams and 960 million YouTube channel views, Jeezy’s impact on the trap music genre is undeniable. From his debut LP “Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101” to his final album in the Thug Motivation series, “TM 104: The Legend Of The Snowman,” Jeezy has consistently topped the charts with hits like “Soul Survivor”, “All There”, and double-platinum hit “Put On” featuring Kanye West.

“I’m honored to be a part of the Atlanta Hawks’ celebration for their No. 1 overall pick at the 2024 NBA Draft Watch Party,” said Jeezy. “As a long-time Atlanta resident, I’ve always had a deep connection to the Hawks and their passionate fan base. I’m excited to take the stage and deliver an unforgettable performance that captures the energy and excitement of this momentous occasion.”

The watch party will feature Bally Sports Southeast play-by-play announcer Bob Rathbun, along with the Hawks PA announcer Tigger. The event will include members of Hawks Entertainment including DJ Chika, Harry the Hawk, ATL Dancers and the Flight Crew who will be on-site to elevate the overall atmosphere and surprise lucky fans with exciting prizes. Fans can also enjoy limited food concessions and seize the opportunity to purchase the new Hawks ‘Draft Hat’ available at the Hawks Shop.

“We’re hyped that our Atlanta Hawks beat the odds in the draft lottery and got the first overall pick this year,” said Mike Braswell, President and Chief Executive Officer of Georgia Natural Gas. “As a first-year partner, we’re excited to be a part of making Hawks history and watching the impact this pick will have on the court next season and beyond.”

This year, the NBA Draft will debut a two-night format. The first round is set for Wednesday, June 26 at Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and will air nationally on ESPN and ABC. The second round will then take place at ESPN’s Seaport District Studios on Thursday, June 27.

Doors for the Hawks watch party will open at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26 at State Farm Arena and fans will be able to watch live coverage of the 2024 NBA Draft from ESPN inside the arena until 11:30 p.m. E.T.
