George “Iceman” Gervin Talks Trae Young & Dejounte Murray’s Hawks Backcourt, Growth of the BIG3, Pays Homage to Dominique Wilkins & More

On Sunday August 21,  the BIG3 and Monster Energy hosted the BIG3’s biggest weekend ever as the BIG3 Celebrity Game, All-Star Game and Championship game all took place at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA.During the events, TUT’s Terrell Thomas caught up with NBA legend George “Iceman” Gervin. 

For many in the NBA, George Gervin was one of a kind. Gervin is viewed as one of the greatest scorers in NBA history, and was seen as a wizard with the basketball. 

George Gervin spoke with us about the growth of the BIG3 league, who he feels has a similar playing style as he did, he gave his opinion on what the new look Atlanta Hawks backcourt of Trae Young and Dejounte Murray could look like and more. 

Paying respect to a fellow NBA legend, George Gervin spoke on the greatness of NBA Hall of Famer/ Atlanta Hawks Dominique Wilkins and what he means to the city of Atlanta.
