Fly Pelican Fly: Zion Williamson Will Miss a Few Weeks To Begin The Season with Strained Meniscus

The NBA took a tough blow to start this Friday afternoon off. As we prepare for the 2019-20 NBA season to tip off on Tuesday October 22nd, news hit that New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson will miss the first few weeks of the season with a knee injury.

The Pelicans want Zion to rest, heal and maybe even lose a few pounds over the next few weeks in hopes to get him back as soon as possible. The injury is a Strained Meniscus but Zion didn’t require surgery.

🏀🚑 The Pelicans will take things slow with Zion.
