Wholehearted was born on the 16th day of December 1994 in small town of Albany, Georgia. Growing up music was always second only to sports which was his first love. Through the years he was off and on with music whenever he had time away from sports but was always told he had a gift in which he never truly went after.
Upon graduating high school his sporting career wouldn’t go in the direction that he had planned which allowed him more time to focus on music. One day Wholehearted received a call from his brother Cae$er to take him to a session which he’d booked at the studio and while sitting in on the session Wholehearted was asked to put a verse on the song. It took him less than 15 mins to put a verse together and get it recorded and to the surprise of everyone in the room he sounded like a natural in the booth.
After that day Wholehearted found his love for music again and found himself in the studio more often. His Artist name is Wholehearted 3rd which has many meanings to his life first off he is the 3rd Behind his father and brother and secondly the number 3 is holy and symbolizes the trinity which is the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. His number in sports was always 3 and last but not least it represents his motto that pertains to his brand Wholehearted which is “God,Family, & Bros”. He likes to consider himself lyrical but different when it comes to his craft and he always has a message in every song delivered.
He was presented with a recording contract from CEO Jerry Gibson Jr on behalf of Ruthless Killa Records and it’s been a steady ride up ever since. He went from the guy nobody knew rapped to now highly respected throughout the south and an award winning artist. He is the 2021 JMO Radio Show Best new Artist and 2022 Yo Atl Raps Best new artist.
After releasing a full length album and a EP in 2021 he started 2022 off with a bang with by far his most successful commercial release to date with a single entitled “Ski”. It’s no denying that he has changed and evolved to the face of the label.
