Da Great Ape Release New Visual “Scale Talk” ft. YFN Lucci

Hot on the heels of his latest mixtape STR8 DROP, Atlanta rapper Da Great Ape shares a new visual for the project’s standout track “Scale Talk” featuring YFN Lucci. Directed by The Wizard, the cinematic visual inspired by the movie Blow shows Ape and Lucci as kingpins and cohorts from the crime scene to the soiree.

The video follows Ape’s previous video for “Quarter Brick” featuring Rick Ross. STR8 DROP is Da Great Ape’s 9-song effort that follows his debut project Last Dope Boy Left, which solidified him as one of the torchbearers of classic, gritty southern rap.

The new project continues Ape’s sonic trajectory and is influenced by southern legends like Project Pat, Three 6 Mafia and T.I. – the latter of which also appeared on Ape’s track “Ape Mode” and was among the first to discover him.
