Timbaland Taps N3WYRKLA For New Single “CH3RRY”

New Jersey Native N3WYRKLA Adds Momentum to Her Release Streak With New Single “CH3RRY,” As Her Latest Ep, it’s not you, it’s me, Continues to Establish Her Place in the Alt-Rnb Scene

Joining the class of notable Jersey artists like SZA, Fousheé, and 070 Shake, rising Alt-RnB songstress N3WYRKLA pairs her brutally honest lyricism with early 2000’s alt-rock acoustics and booming bass on her latest single “CH3RRY,” produced by Timbaland. The track touches on a romantic relationship gone sour and is emblematic of the singer’s self-confidence. She calls out a partner’s possible infidelity and decides to move on but is met with “sassy beef” and defensive attitude. Through the use of alt rock guitar strums, accompanied by hip hop bass rhythms and her sultry vocal delivery, “CH3RRY” is exemplary of the singer’s desire to grow and continue to bend genres at her whim.

Grammy-award winning rapper and producer, Timbaland, tapped in with N3WYRKLA for this track, the legendary producer states “N3WYRKLA’s got it, her pen game is different and it’s artists like her that inspire me.” The single originally debuted on 757 Room on YouTube and is out now on all DSP’s.

In 2023, N3WYRKLA released her debut EP, SELFishly enTITLED along with a stream of singles that helped her grow an audience and garner attention, one such example being her angsty single, “GMFU” which garnered over 1 million streams across all platforms. For her latest EP, it’s not you, it’s me, N3WYRKLA shared that the project is dedicated to “taking accountability about the role you play in a relationship.” The EP has amassed over 2 million streams across all platforms and reached #23 on the Apple Music’s R&B/Soul Top Albums Charts. To further accomplish her mission, she featured soulful and introspective RnB singer Brent Faiyaz on the lo-fi synthy RnB single “not enough” which garnered 1 million streams across all platforms. After this collaboration, N3WYRKLA was invited to hop onto Faiyaz’s critically acclaimed album Larger Than Life, along with A$AP Rocky, on the track “Outside All Night.” N3WYRKLA’s vulnerable delivery of lines like “If I let you in, can you promise you won’t be outside doing me wrong”  adds emotional depth to an already yearnful track and currently has 67m streams. This feature earned N3WYRKLA’s first Billboard chart entry, debuting at #10 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart and #26 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/ Hip-Hop Songs.

N3WYRKLA is making a name for herself in the RnB world and is one to watch. Her ability to connect with listeners through her straightforward lyricism and emotiveness proves to be the superpower that will propel her to new heights.
