Bobby Shmurda Announces His First Post-Prison EP ‘Bodboy’

It’s been nearly 16 months since Bobby Shmurda came home from a long-winded prison stint. In the time since his prison release, the “Shmoney dance” artist has also been able to break free from his record deal with Epic Records. Now, in 2022, Bobby Shmurda has started his own label named GS9 in partnership with ONErpm, and is set to release his first post-prison EP BodBoy on August 5. Bodboy will be available across all streaming platforms.

To wet our appetites, the now independent rapper has been sharing a steady stream of new tracks ever since he exited his record deal with Epic. His latest release and first single from Bodboy, “Hoochie Daddy,” is a spin off of Uncle Luke’s “Hoochie Mama” and sees Bobby experimenting with a more fast-paced sound. Listen to the viral hit “Hoochie Daddy” here.

The tracklist includes 9 songs.
