“Layshia has been a consistent and dependable floor general throughout their WNBA career,” said Head Coach Curt Miller. “They have an outstanding work ethic and a competitiveness that is contagious. They will be a great addition to our culture both on the court and in the locker room.”

The San Bernadino native was originally drafted ninth overall by the Indiana Fever in the 2013 WNBA Draft out of the University of California, Berkeley.

“I never take the opportunity to play in this league for granted,” said Clarendon. “It’s clear Curt and Karen are building something special in LA and I’m thrilled to be a part of it!”
