Tampa Bound: LeSean McCoy Agrees to a 1-Year Deal with the Tampa Bay Bucs

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been busy this offseason adding talent and depth to their roster. After signing former NFL and Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady back in the spring, Tampa has added weapons on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.

Over the weekend, the Bucs added another offensive threat to their roster. Running back LeSean McCoy has agreed to a one-year deal with the Bucs.

Over the past three seasons, no quarterback in the NFL has thrown to their running back more than Tom Brady (486 times). With a star in the backfield such as Shady McCoy, the Bucs offense can open up and provide opportunity to the Bucs speedy receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

McCoy ran for four touchdowns and 465 yards in the 2019 NFL season. Playing with Tom Brady, McCoy could be set for another pro bowl season.

Can McCoy help Tampa Bay get to the Super Bowl?
