Former NFL WR Freddie Mitchell Talks Eagles Darius Slay & Vinny Curry Potential Defensive Impact

The 2020 NFL season is less than three away and NFL Training Camp is in full force. As we get closer to Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season, TUT’s Terrell Thomas caught up with former NFL wide receiver/ Philadelphia Eagle Freddie Mitchell.

In the clip, Freddie Mitchell spoke on the 2020 Philadelphia Eagles defensive and the addition of defensive back Darius Slay.

“I think he can stop the deep ball…he can cover any team’s #1”.

Freddie explained that Darius Slay’s addition was big but he believes the biggest move the Eagles made was re-signing defensive end Vinny Curry.

“He played with the Eagles, won a Super Bowl and came back….he took a million, two million dollar pay cut to be comfortable”
