While Atlanta and Houston artists were establishing their cities as Southern strongholds, Rick Ross put Miami back in rap’s national spotlight with “Hustlin’” (2006). Over the course of his career, the rapper became not only a hip-hop fixture but an unlikely pop star as well. In 2009, he founded his own music label, Maybach Music Group. Additionally, he has collaborated with artists such as Drake, Lil Wayne, Meek Mill and many more.

Miami native Trina had no musical ambition when she was first heard as the assertive and raunchy foil on 1998’s Top Five rap single ‘Nann,’ but her whirlwind verse began an enduring and highly influential career. A string of four subsequent Top 20 albums, from ‘Diamond Princess’ (2002) through ‘Amazin’’ (2010), during which she had a number 17 pop hit with ‘Here We Go,’ made Trina one of the most commercially successful rappers of the new millennium.

Born in Atlanta, Yung Joc is a Multi-platinum GRAMMY® Award-nominated artist, American television personality and producer. Both, 2006’s platinum-selling ‘New Joc City’ and its 2007 follow-up Gold selling ‘Hustlenomics’ albums debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the R&B Chart, which yielded several Platinum and Gold singles. His well-known hits ‘It’s Goin’ Down’ and ‘I Know You See It’ are certified Platinum by the RIAA and ‘1st Time’ is certified Gold. He joined the cast of VH-1’s hit reality show ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ during its 3rd season. He’s been hard at work in the studio working on his own latest music releases, to be distributed by Symphonic including new single ‘Perfect Timing ft. Gunna & B. Smyth’ produced by GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Blac Elvis.

Tela is a Southern Rap Legend from Memphis, TN who started rapping in the ’90s and has maintained a career that spans two decades. Tela infuses Memphis soul with funk, rock and the grassroots sound of Southern hip-hop. Beginning his career in the late 1990s, he eventually landed a deal with Suave House Records where he dropped his critically acclaimed debut album “Piece of Mind.” Additionally, Tela has formed an independent label 1520 Records which is based in Atlanta and features several talented artists.
