DJ Tygga Ty & Beat105.5Fm Encourage Minorities to Vote

As the 2020 Presidential election inches closer, DJ Tygga Ty and The Beat 105.5fm have been engaging in various activities not just over the airwaves but online and through remote outdoor broadcast. 

Tygga Ty who attracts a huge Caribbean following in the upstate area because of his reggae-dancehall mixes and playing for numerous Caribbean acts visiting the area to perform for fans. The move which is centered around helping minorities to register to vote and be a part of the 2020 Census see the DJ and host engage their audience to exercise their civic duty. 

“We can’t continue to criticize the system but also take meaningful action to help see the changes we want to make. Upstate New York has a lot of Caribbean and other foreign nationals living here so we have to support and engage them where we can” states Tygga Ty. 

You can catch DJ Tygga still on ‘The Stop Playin Show’ which airs Monday-Friday 7pm-12am on The Beat 105.5fm and The Kickback Show which airs on 104.3fm Sundays 6pm-8pm.
