Story Written By Yaz Franco

After 13 years, global multi-platinum artist Chingy is scheduled to release his full-length album “Crown Jewel” on  Friday July 31st.

The album consists of 12 songs including his two singles “All Capp,” and “Invisible.” The St. Louis artist shared that “Crown Jewel” is a reflection of his mental and spiritual growth. The project was an outlet for the artist to speak on his experiences in life and in business, ultimately molding him in to the enlighten individual he has become over the years.

Chingy, achieved superstardom in the early 2000’s with his Billboard Hot 100 Hits “Right Thurr,” “Holidae In,” and “One Call Away.” Chingy, is clearly no stranger to mainstream success with the release of his debut album, “Jackpot” which went RIAA-certified triple-platinum, and knocked himself out of the No. 1 position with his second platinum album “Powerballin.” Chingy, followed up with another RIAA-certified gold record, “Hoodstar,” which also reached the Billboard 200 all-genre Top 10 albums chart.
