Philadelphia Sixers Defeat the Washington Wizards In First Round Series (4-1)

The Philadelphia 76ers are headed to the second round.

The Sixers have defeated the Washington Wizards (129-112) in Game 5 of their first round 2021 NBA Playoffs matchup defeating the Wizards in the series four games to one.

The Sixers came into Game 5 without their all-star center Joel Embiid but they were able to defeat the Wizards thanks to the play of Sixers guard Seth Curry.

Seth Curry dropped 30 points in Game 5 for the 76ers. Sixers all-star Ben Simmons finished the night with a triple-double. Simmons scoring 19 points along with 10 rebounds and 11 assists. Tobias Harris also added 28 points and 9 rebounds.

The Philadelphia Sixers will face the Atlanta Hawks in the 2021 Eastern conference semifinals. Watch a few highlights Game 5 above.
