Mike Scott Talks Life in the NBA Bubble, The Washington Red Tails, His Favorite Rap Battles & More

On Thursday July 16th, TUT’s Terrell Thomas was joined by Philadelphia 76ers star forward Mike Scott as the two discussed the upcoming restart of the 2019-20 NBA season.

July 16th was a special day for Mike Scott who was celebrating his Birthday. Before Mike headed to his team Birthday dinner with the Sixers, we had a moment to talk life in the NBA Bubble in Orlando.

Mike Scott shared his experience so far stating that he goes from practice back to his room. Aside from missing his family, it hasn’t been a hard adjustment. Mike also gave us some insight on the Sixers and their plans as they look to make a strong playoff push. Mike Scott discussed his teammate Ben Simmons move to the power forward position and why some critics are counting his Sixers out of a chance at the NBA Finals.

Before concluding our interview, we spoke with Mike Scott on some things close to his heart, Washington’s pro football team and Rap music. Mike Scott shared his thoughts on the Washington Redskins announcing they are changing the team name. He shared that he like the Washington Red Tails and hopes the team selects that name.

He also spoke on his favorite video games currently and his favorite rap battles of all-time.
