Hornets LaMelo Ball Becomes Youngest Player to Record NBA Triple Double

The Charlotte Hornets are now (5-5) after defeating the (4-5) Atlanta Hawks (113-105) on Saturday night largely because of the play of rookie guard LaMelo Ball.

The number three pick of the 2020 NBA Draft has been extremely impressive off the bench for the Hornets to start the season. LaMelo Ball has flirted with a triple-double a few times already in this early season. Tonight, he stopped flirting and made it official.

LaMelo Ball make NBA history tonight becoming the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double. Ball finished the night against the Atlanta Hawks with 22 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assist.

Take a moment and watch a few highlights from LaMelo Ball’s big night above. The Charlotte Hornets are back in action on Monday night as they face the New York Knicks.
