Hit Us Up: The Detroit Pistons Offer J.Cole a Shot at Playing in the NBA

After going (20-46) during the 2019-20 NBA season, the Detroit Pistons could be looking for a new scoring machine. Not one from UCLA, Duke or UConn, they could be looking to sign a 6’3 point guard out of Dreamville University.

Hip-Hop star J.Cole is a busy man and his latest move may have lined him up for a chance at the NBA. After releasing an ad for his sneaker collaboration with PUMA, the RS Dreamer, where he is workout on the basketball court, news broke via Hip-Hop icon Master P that J.Cole could be preparing for the NBA.

The Pistons caught wind of that news and they are ready to give J.Cole a chance. Quoting a bar from J.Cole’s record “FRIENDS”, the Detroit Pistons reached out to Cole on Twitter with the phrase “we see you out here. You said they only got 12 slots on the Pistons.”

The 35-year-old North Carolina native can certainly hoop and has been seen working out with NBA stars time and time again. If Cole has what it takes to make an NBA roster though is unknown.

If Cole does get a shot at the NBA, I would love to see him get a chance to play for the Charlotte Hornets. Regardless, it will be interesting to see where this goes.
