The 2020 NBA Draft Lottery took place tonight (August 20th) and we now know the order in which teams will draft later this year in the 2020 NBA Draft.
We now know that the Atlanta Hawks have secured the sixth overall pick in the NBA Draft. The Hawks entered tonight’s Lottery in the fourth position. Now only have the sixth overall pick, Atlanta also owns a second-round pick, at number 50 overall.
Following the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery, Atlanta Hawks GM Travis Schlenk met with a few NBA media members in Atlanta via Zoom. During the zoom meeting, TUT’s Terrell Thomas spoke with Travis Schlenk to get his reaction to being awarded the sixth pick in the draft and his plans on using the pick or trading it.
“We’ll look at all our options. We’re at a place financially where we have the ability to take on a contract”
