End Of An Era: The Atlanta Hawks Have Parted Ways with Head Coach Nate McMillan

Well, well, well. Talk about a splash in the city of Atlanta on a rainy Tuesday night.

Moments ago, news broke that the Atlanta Hawks have parted way with head coach Nate McMillan. The Hawks have been disappointing to many at this point in the season. The Hawks are currently (29-30) and it appears the best of the Hawks this season has not been seen.

The Hawks have had a few bright spots with Nate McMillan coaching the team. The Hawks reached the the 2021 Eastern Conference Finals before losing to the Milwaukee Bucks. During that playoff run, a star was born in Trae Young.

Overall, Nate McMillan was (99-80) as the Hawks head coach. The Hawks will begin looking for new head coach immediately. As of now, Joe Prunty will be the interim Hawks coach. The Hawks are back at home at State Farm Arena on Friday, February 24th as they host the Cleveland Cavaliers.
