Birds Flyin High: Atlanta Hawks Clinch 2021 Playoff Berth

Atlanta Hawks fans, the time you have been waiting for is here. Your Atlanta Hawks are back in the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2017.

In the words of the Hawks, the “Pac is Back”.

With a (120-116) victory over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday evening, the Atlanta Hawks have official clinched a spot in the 2021 NBA playoffs.

Trae Young led the Hawks to a comeback win Wednesday night dropping 33 points and dishing out 9 assist.

The Hawks are currently (39-31) and stand as the fourth seed in the eastern conference. If the playoffs were to start today, the Hawks would matchup against the Miami Heat in the first round of the postseason. The Hawks have two regular season games remaining. They face the Orlando Magic tonight (May 13th) and the host the Houston Rockets on Sunday, May 16th.
