Atlanta Hawks HC Lloyd Pierce Speaks On The Advice He Shared with His Friend Steve Nash After Being Named the Brooklyn Nets HC

The Atlanta Hawks are in full swing this week as their two week in-market mini camp began on Monday.

Today, Hawks head coach Lloyd Pierce spoke with the media following the Hawks first practice of the mini-camp.

During Coach Pierce’s media session, Coach Pierce spoke with Terrell Thomas on Steve Nash being named the new head coach of the Brooklyn Nets. Coach Pierce and Steve Nash have been friends since their college days at Santa Clara.

Coach Pierce shared his advice to Steve Nash as he prepares to coach two NBA superstars in Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. Coach Pierce spoke on knowing Steve Nash can handle the job of coaching in Brooklyn and how despite all the negative chatter surrounding the Nets decision to hire Nash, that Steve Nash is the right man for the job.
