The Atlanta Hawks are gearing up to debut their 20-21 MLK Nike City edition jersey on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 18th as they face the Minnesota Timberwolves at State Farm Arena.
Although MLK Day is celebrated on January 18th, today (Jan 15th is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday. To celebrate Dr. King’s birthday, the Atlanta Hawks have gifted Pope Francis his own exclusive 20-21 MLK Nike City edition jersey.
The motto for the 20-21 MLK Nike City edition jersey is “Earn These Letter”. Pope Francis has certainly earned his letters with his service across the globe.
