Atlanta Hawks Fall To the Short-Handed Charlotte Hornets (130-127)

On Sunday December 5th, the Atlanta Hawks fell to a record of (12-12) after being defeated by the Charlotte Hornets (130-127).

The Hornets came into this game short-handed as three of Charlotte’s starters including LaMelo Ball were out of the game during to Health and Safety protocols but that didn’t slow them down. Hornets rising star Miles Bridges have a big night scoring 32 points including 13 points in the fourth quarter.

The Hornets were on fire from the field making 53.5% of their shots on the night.

The Atlanta Hawks are down a few players as well but this is matchup I had them winning big. The Hawks offense was rolling all night, but their defense was missing in the second half.

Hawks big man John Collins led all scorers for Atlanta scoring 31 points and dropping 12 rebounds. Trae Young added 25 points and a season high 15 assists.

The Hawks will look to bounce back quickly as they are in Minnesota this evening for their second game of a back to back. The game begins at 8pm ET.
