Anthony Edwards Drops 42, Ja Morant Scores 37 as the Grizzlies & Timberwolves Square Off

Wednesday’s NBA matchup of the Minnesota Timberwolves facing off against the Memphis Grizzlies featured two rising stars in the league and they did not disappoint.

2020-21 NBA rookie of the year candidate Anthony Edwards and former NBA rookie of the year winner Ja Morant put on a show Wednesday evening. Anthony Edwards finished the night with 42 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Ja Morant finished with 37 points and assists.

Despite the big scoring night for Anthony Edwards, the Grizzlies defeated the Timberwolves (139-135). The win moved the Grizzlies to a record of (33-32), the current eighth seed in the Western conference. Minnesota’s record is now (20-46).
