The current Covid-19 pandemic has affected the way of life for all of us. It continues to be real and it has touched every business it different ways.

As Major League Baseball pushes forward in their attempt to get a 60 game 2020 MLB Season under way, a team in the AL East is facing a dilemma in their own backyard.

Much of Canada is still under strict Coronavirus rules and guidelines. With us just a few days away from Opening Day 2020, the Canada’s government has informed the Toronto Blue Jays that they will not be able to host or play games in Toronto at their home field the Rogers Centre.

The Blue Jays have known this could be a possibility so they do have a few back up plans in mind. The team has looked into playing in Buffalo, NY and they have looked at playing in Florida.

Buffalo is right across the bridge and the Toronto Blue Jays’ Triple-A affiliate play there. The Blue Jays play in Florida during Spring Training but due to the spike in positive test in the Sunshine State, that plan could be out the window.

Details are still forming to where Toronto will play. Stay tuned to TheseUrbanTimes for more information.
