Shohei Ohtani Featured on the Cover of ‘MLB The Show 22’

Although we don’t yet know when the 2022 MLB season will begin, video game fans now know when the upcoming edition of ‘MLB The Show’ will be released.

On April 5th, ‘MLB The Show 22’ will be released on Playstation 5, Playstation 4, XBOX S, XBOX One and for the first time, Nintendo Switch.

After one of the greatest single seasons in MLB history, Los Angeles Angeles pitcher and 2021 American League MVP Shohei Ohtani will grace the cover of ‘MLB The Show 22’. During the 2021 MLB season, Ohtani hit 46 home runs, 100 RBI and he stole 26 bases. Ohtani was also (9-2) as a pitcher for the Angeles.

According to Playstation,

The Standard Edition on last gen consoles is $59.99 USD/$79.99 CAD. The Standard Edition on current gen consoles is $69.99 USD/$89.99 CAD. For Nintendo Switch, the Standard Edition is $59.99 USD/$79.99 CAD.

Cross-Platform Play, Cross Saves and Cross Progression Expands to include Nintendo Switch for MLB The Show 22

Nintendo fans can now join in with Xbox and PlayStation fans to play against each other online with cross-platform play in MLB The Show 22*. In addition, cross progression allows you to earn and use any earned content on any platform or generation (this excludes PS5 and Xbox Series X|S exclusive features like Stadium Creator). With cross saves you can transfer a save file for Road to the Show or Franchise mode to a different console.**
