Master P Talks Creating Wealth in the Black Community, the “No Limit Chronicles”, His Starting 5 Rappers Who Hoop, Wishing He Would’ve Signed India Arie to No Limit, No Limit Sports Opening Doors & More w/ These Urban Times

Hip-Hop mogul Master P has set the standard for decades on how to build a brand, creating bosses and creating generational wealth in the black community.

Getting his roses while he can smell them, Master P recently linked up with BET to release his docu-series the “No Limit Chronicles”. Highlighting his journey into forming a rap career, the “No Limit Chronicles” breaks down the rise of No Limit Records and how Master P opened a world of entrepreneurship for himself and any one who wore the No Limit Tank.

Recently, Master P sat down with These Urban Times own Terrell Thomas. Master P started the conversation off dropping gems. Master P spoke on why he was ready to release “No Limit Chronicles” and why he wanted to make sure people had the chance to speak their truth.

Master P broke down the importance of creating generational wealth in the black community. Education is key and learning how to create wealth is missing in our community, Master P spoke on. Teaching others and helping others reach their full potential is why Master P believes he receives his blessings. He shared how practicing these methods opened doors for him.

Not only did Master P create success in the music business, he was also extremely successful as an athlete and as a sports businessman. Recently breaking the news that Hip-Hop artist J.Cole could be working on for the NBA, we spoke on J.Cole’s NBA chances and other Hip-Hop artist who can hoop.

Terrell Thomas asked Master P on his starting 5 rappers who can hoop. His answer may surprise you. Master P also recalled his time training for the NBA and the NBA stars who helped him train for the next level. “We went to war” Master P acknowledged during his training days. Cuttino Mobley, Derek Anderson, Sam Cassell and many other NBA vets all played a part in helping Master P reach his dreams.

Before concluding our time together, Master P shared how No Limit Sports created a blueprint for black businessmen to change the sports business world. With agency’s such as Klutch Sports and Roc Nation Sports doing great business in sports, we spoke on No Limit Sports deal with former NFL star/ Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams changed the game.

Continuing to form and create business opportunities for himself and his team, Master P let us know he has no plans for slowing down. Outside of his businesses with Rap Snacks, Rap Snacks Icon Noodles, Moneyatti, and other ventures, Stocks is where Master P is focused next. Master P broke down where he plans to take his brand next. “We’re working on stock and being able to teach our people stocks and educate our people”.
