Julissa Bermudez & Sanya Richards-Ross Talks ‘Central Ave’, Will Packer, Female Athletes Speaking For Change & More

Veteran entertainment reporter Julissa Bermudez (BET’s 106 & Park, Empire Girls) and four-time Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross return to their historic roles as the first two women of color to host an entertainment magazine show.

Julissa Bermudez and Sanya Richards-Ross are changing the way we receive entertainment news with their new show ‘Central Ave’. Recently, TheseUrbanTimes own Terrell Thomas caught up with Julissa and Sanya to find out more about the show.

Produced by director, producer Will Packer, Julissa and Sanya took some time to get us some in depth information on how ‘Central Ave’ was created.
Julissa and Sanya explained that ‘Central Ave’ wasn’t created overnight. Although ‘Central Ave’ debuted in September, launching ‘Central Ave’ was a two year process. During our interview, Julissa and Sanya informed us on their creative process on creating stories for ‘Central Ave’, their thoughts on the city of Atlanta, female athletes and entertainers using their voices for change and much more.

The interview was conducted by Terrell Thomas. The video was edited by LiveHipHopDaily. Follow Julissa Bermudez (@officialjulissab), Sanya Richards-Ross (@sanyarichiross) and @CentralAveTV on social media. Follow Terrell Thomas on twitter and IG @eldorado2452 and @theseurbantimes.
