Jesse Williams Talks His ‘Old Spice’ Campaign, Greenwood Banking, Being On the Oscars Short List, John Chaney’s Legacy & More

Actor turned-surgeon Jesse Williams is currently working with the funny folks at Old Spice on their latest man motivating campaign, “Smell Ready for Anything.”

The new campaign serves as a satirical self-help, pep-talk video from Jesse Williams himself helping guys “MANifest Greatness.” In the video, Jesse looks to motivate our men in getting them off the couch, arming them with inspiration and keeping them cologne-ready & confident.

Recently, TheseUrbanTimes own Terrell Thomas sat down with Jesse Williams to discuss his campaign with ‘Old Spice’ and more.

Terrell Thomas and Jesse Williams spoke on the new “Old Spice” campaign and the creator process behind it. We also discussed a few new endeavors Jesse Williams is currently working on. Jesse shared that he is currently on the short list for the 2021 Oscars based on a new short film he has produced “Two Distance Strangers”.

Jesse Williams also spoke on his role with the Greenwood digital bank, as a Temple University grad, Jesse spoke on the legacy of the late great Temple Basketball head coach, John Chaney and more.

Before concluding our interview, Jesse Williams spoke on a few plans he has for the year 2021. He revealed that he is working on a new film based on the life of Olympic gold medalist Tommie Smith. Jesse also revealed that he is working on a few thing with his popular app/ charades style game ‘BLeBRiTY’
